A learn-work-social on the most effective ways to prevent drought.
Will be fun.
What is carbon landscaping?
It's enriching your soil and trees carefully and strategically, reversing erosion, and setting those super-powered organisms up so they retain and build water and carbon into the landscape, year after year.
The goal: rebuild / rehydrate / re-empower a native, bio-rich ecosystem. Learn more.

MEANINGFUL DIALOGUE
w/ Rev. Jimi Calhoun
March 15-17,
Make the present dance.
Rev. Jimi Calhoun is one of the most important musicians in pop music history. He played on numerous classics in the 60s and 70s and was a formative influencer in funk. In his 30s, he shifted into ministry and has worked with Brian McLaren, ministered internationally with his wife, Rev. Julaine Calhoun, pioneered efforts to bring worship to the disabled, written extensively on de-racializing The Church, and more. This event celebrates the release of Mr. Calhoun's fifth book, Border Dance, and yes - will include some funky music.

CALLED to CARE
w/ Aly Tharp & Rev. Billy Tweedie
April 13,
Make the future better.
Caring-well for "thy" self and others is at the core of every religious and health insight. Yet today's media, politics, etc., push us the other way. What can we actuall learn from each other? How far can we go together? This series explores Care as identity from various religious and spiritual practice perspectives. We gather to de-polarize and move into an era of cross-cultural connecting, envisioning and enacting the resolutions we need to grow a better future. When in troubled times CARE is what's most needed, and to us "the garden" is the best place to start.
Join us in the garden for this special conversation!

Rain or Cold?
No Problem.
Costs? Bathrooms?
We have tons of indoor space. We will just socialize if weather is too rough.
